Stone Church leads and partners with many different outreach efforts in the Yakima Valley.  Below is a list of some of the groups we currently partner with in order to impact our community with the love of Christ.  For information on how to get plugged into one or more of these efforts, please call us at the church office – 509.575.3720.

LifeGate
LifeGate Outreach is a non-profit ministry that partners with other local non-profits, which serve the children, the needy, and the sick. Dry goods are received from World Vision and local merchants.  These items are distributed the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month from nine till noon. Volunteer opportunities include: unloading trucks, organizing merchandise, and helping partners on the distribution days.

Sunrise Outreach Center
Sunrise Outreach Center of Yakima is a Christian outreach collaborative between the churches in Yakima to bring the light of the Gospel and all that it promises to our neighbors, especially those who are hurting.  Our purpose is to meet people where they are and build on what they have.  There are people in need and those that want to help, we’re looking for both.  The Four Pillars that best define us are:  Feeding families, housing the homeless, mobilizing the community and building relationships. We run Compassion Connect, daily Soup and Sandwich outreach, the Extreme Winter Weather Shelters and the Station day center, among many other ministries.

REACH (Beyond the Walls)
This ministry meets every Saturday morning and targets the needy neighborhoods in our valley. We will be available to families when they need prayer, food, clothing, or any other personal help items they may need to support their family. This entire ministry will be based around prayer, and faith. If you believe outreach ministry is your passion, this just for you! If you feel the need to donate to the needy, this is also for you! There is place for every single person in this new ministry. We also take any donations such as food, clothing, books, toys, etc.

Union Gospel Mission
The Union Gospel Mission has been blessed with thousands of hours donated by volunteers each year. We depend upon people like you who are ready to invest your time, talents and effort in order to help hurting and needy people. God needs your help again this year.

Life Choices
An unplanned pregnancy is a difficult thing to face alone. We provide someone to listen, answer questions and provide information and options.  Life Choices offers free pregnancy tests, ultrasound exams, prenatal vitamins, medical consultations, prenatal classes, referrals, and post abortion support. We have trained medical professionals who will meet with you.

Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
